STEM NATURE PHOTO/STORYTELLING CONTEST DUE DATE

  • SRS Home and School (map)

Using the camera of your choice (or whichever one your family will let you use!), go out for a walk (or, even better, many walks!) in a park or woods or some natural space nearby, and look for weird, cool, unusual, or otherwise interesting things. Take a picture, or a series of pictures, of the thing that ultimately interests you the most, and write a few words (Grades K-2) or a paragraph (Grades 3-5) explaining what it is and how you think it ended up in the spot where you found it. This project takes a little bit of research and little bit of imagination!

Send in your pictures and accompanying research/story for Home and School judges to review to srsstem@gmail.com. Three lucky winners will receive a $25 gift card to the SRS Spirit Wear Store and have their photos featured in the SRS school building and on the SRS Home and School website.
