In past years, candidates for the WSSD Board of School Directors have visited PTO/H&S Association meetings. This year, there are ten candidates. In the interest of time, NPE-PTO, WES-PTO and SRS-H&S will be co-hosting a virtual Meet The School Board Candidates event on Thursday, October 21 at 7pm.
All ten school board candidates have been invited to speak for 5 minutes. There will not be a question and answer period, but we do want to hear from you in advance. Please submit any questions/concerns that you may have for our school board candidates by October 17. We'll provide them to the candidates, and they can address them in their prepared remarks. The Zoom link will be distributed closer to the event.
Region 1 - Nether Providence Wards 2, 3, 4, 6-1 and 7-1
Region 2 - Wards 1, 5, 6-2, 7-2 and Rose Valley
Region 3 - Swarthmore and Rutledge
The SRS Home & School Association does not support or oppose any candidates or parties.
